Shayla Law has received fellowships from Cave Canem, Jack Jones Literary Arts, the Center for African American Poetry and Poetics (CAAP), the Digital Studio (DiSC), and the Hurston/Wright Foundation. Her debut poetry collection speculation n (2021) was chosen by Ilya Kaminsky for the 2020 Autumn Poetry Prize and has been featured in Poets & Writers, The Poetry Foundation, The Slowdown, and NPR's The Record.
Richard Murray's work has appeared in The Moth, Poetry East, The Bitter Oleander, Slipstream, Rattle, Sante Fe Literary Review and other journals. His first book of poetry, Edisonia, was published this year by Finish Line Press. Murrray has taught creative writing at Rutgers since 2007.
