Meg Wolitzer is the The New York Times–bestselling author of The Interestings, The Uncoupling, The Ten-Year Nap, The Wife, which was turned into an Oscar nominated movie, and the young adult novel, Belzhar. Her work has been called "remarkable" (The New York Times Book Review), "genius" (The Chicago Tribune), “wonderful” (Vanity Fair), "ambitious" (San Francisco Chronicle), and “marvelously inventive," (Washington Post); Entertainment Weekly called her "one of the best novelists of her generation." She has taught creative writing at the University of Iowa's Writers' Workshop, Skidmore College, and, most recently, was a guest artist at Princeton University.
Inside the Writers house brings you into the homes, offices, and writing rooms of acclaimed authors (via video chat) for an inside eye on their working life and a level of intimacy often lacking in more formal settings. Visits are conversational, molded by audience questions, and may include readings and person tours. Open to the public.
