Joshua Henkin's new novel, Morningside Heights, was a number one Indie Next Pick, a New York Times Book Review Editors' Choice, and one of "2021’s Most Highly Anticipated New Books" (Newsweek). It's been called "emotionally generous, deft, witty, and deeply intelligent" (Boston Globe), "generous, wise, and wry enough to avoid sentimentality" (National Book Review),  "richly textured... profoundly moving and illuminating" (Wall Street Journal), "tender and unflinching" (Tom Perrotta), and "a stunning achievement" (Publishers Weekly, starred). Henkin directs the MFA program in Fiction Writing at Brooklyn College.

Inside the Writers house brings you into the homes, offices, and writing rooms of acclaimed authors (via video chat) for an inside eye on their working life and a level of intimacy often lacking in more formal settings. Visits are conversational, molded by audience questions, and may include readings and person tours. Open to the public.
