Please join us in welcoming writer and queer activist Sarah Schulman for a discussion of her forthcoming book, Let the Record Show: A Political History of ACT UP New York, 1987-1993.

Schulman is an American novelist, playwright, nonfiction writer, screenwriter, gay activist, and AIDS historian. She is also Distinguished Professor of the Humanities at the College of Staten Island (CSI) and a Fellow at the New York Institute for the Humanities. She is a recipient of the Bill Whitehead Award.  

Brian Pietras is a scholar and creative writer who teaches in the Princeton Writing Program. His scholarly work has appeared or is forthcoming in Renaissance Drama, Spenser Studies, and The Journal of the History of Sexuality. 

Kelly Roberts is a Ph.D. Candidate in the English Department at Rutgers. She writes about queer fiction and lives in Brooklyn with her friends and her cats.
