Join us as three of our creative writing instructors read from their original work.

Joanna Fuhrman is the author of numerous poetry collections including Freud in Brooklyn, Ugh, Ugh, Ocean, Moraine, Pageant, and, most recently, The Year of the Yellow Butterflies. She is the winner of the Kinereth Gensler Prize from Alice James Books.

Novelist Lisa Shea woke a Whiting Writers Award for her novel Hula. She has written for The New York Times Book Review, Interview, Conjunctions, among other magazines and literary publications  

Jacob Suskewicz is fiction writer and director of the Writing Program for the Rutgers doctors of social work program, and an instructor of creative writing. The first chapter of his novel, Set a Fire Burning, was selected by Benjamin Percy as the winner of t=The New School's Graduate Writing Program Chapbook Contest.
