    The English Department at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, will offer two week-long intensive summer seminars for A.P. English teachers. The course offerings are designed for both beginning and experienced instructors and will enable a diverse group of educators to focus on specific pedagogical issues in the A.P. English classroom. The Rutgers Summer A.P. English Institute has been endorsed by the College Board AP Program.

    Participants who are NJ teachers will fulfill 50 hours of Professional Development upon completion of their chosen seminar.

    Participants have the option of taking their chosen seminar for one graduate credit through the Rutgers Summer Session office.

    The Rutgers Writers House Teachers College offers seminars designed for English and Writing teachers of college-bound students.  Our programs in Expository Writing, and Creative Writing, focus on providing practical application of pedagogical models at work in the University. These courses will help high school teachers prepare students for success in today's college writing classroom.
