Description

Philip Gourevitch is an American author and journalist, and has served as editor of The Paris Review since 2005. He is the author of We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed with Our Families: Stories from Rwanda and A Cold Case. The former was written as Gourevitch traveled through Rwanda and its neighboring countries and was a unique resource at the time. The book brought a great deal of public attention to the genocide and won many awards, including the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Guardian First Book Award. Prior to his appointment at The Paris Review, Gourevitch served as a staff writer for The New Yorker. His most recent work is The Ballad of Abu Ghraib.
